Mara is a 36-year-old woman who has just landed a job as a sculpture professor at the University of the Basque Country. After several years living abroad with her husband Jon, her brand-new home in Bilbao, and the job stability she has achieved, the desire to be a mother begins to fill her life. The struggle for biological motherhood will jeopardize her beliefs, her job, her relationship, and her happiness, and she will have to free herself from that desire in order to rediscover herself.
