1959. The charismatic French cellist Camille Bernard travels to Bilbao to give a concert, taking advantage of a moment of openness in the Franco regime. However, the concert is merely an excuse to seek answers about the whereabouts of the Althaus family, a group of German musicians who saved her life twenty years earlier.
