After living a clandestine love story for 8 years with her Hindu partner, circumstances force Muslim artist Dorine to return to her family in another state of India. She is forced to adapt again to an iron discipline governed by her father, a fervent believer in Islam. Locked in her room, she draws in profound silence, each line reflects a feeling, be it light or darkness. Her paintings speak for her, they reflect her deep sensitivity, her deepest conflicts, her strength and her vulnerabilities.
